OUR HISTORY * Founded in 1954 by our Chairman Mr. Ellis Safdeye * Privately held Company for 46 Years * Originally began as an importer of novelty products * Pioneers in importing footwear from Asia and establishing testing facilities, production techniques, material sourcing, management supervision, training programs and systems analysis in all footwear producing countries * Opened offices in Taiwan in 1969 to supervise and monitor all production in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Guangzho, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Florence, Indonesia, Surabaya, Taipei, Taiwan, Tachung. * Expanded our International facilities to include offices in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Italy and Brazil (Eleven total) OUR COMPANY TODAY * E.S. ORIGINALS is the largest privately held footwear importer in the world * Retail Sales Volume in excess of One Billion Dollars per year * Our sales over the past forty-five years has continued to achieve incremental growth on a consistent basis * E.S. ORIGINALS is a multi-faceted full service organization employing over 1,000 professionals in our domestic and overseas offices * Currently develop and market all categories of footwear for women's, men's, boy's and girl's OUR COMPANY IN THE FUTURE E.S. PRODUCTION FACILITIES AND PURCHASING OFFICES * All offices are supervised by joint American and local administrators * All specifications for footwear are determined by each individual customer and adhered to by our factories * Professional technicians and quality control inspectors supervise and control all E.S. ORIGINALS production in all factories * Support our own testing labs which constantly check materials, components and finished products. Wear testing and fit testing is performed on all production shoes * All factories abide by Human Rights Guidelines and conform to all local government labor laws PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT * E.S. ORIGINALS employs over 30 designers and product development specialists * Line Builders consistently travel the world to identify fashion trends * Subscribe to fashion forecast services * In-house art and graphics department, fully computerized * Extensive travel to our overseas factories to oversee sample development * E.S.
